The Gentle Start provides complete baby kits  including diapers, clothing, hygiene items, and more  to moms who are preparing for their little one's arrival but may not have the means to afford these necessities.

Our Mission

At The Gentle Start, our mission is to provide new and expectant mothers facing financial hardship with complete baby essentials offering comfort, dignity, and support during one of life’s most vulnerable and beautiful transitions. Inspired by a personal journey, we are committed to ensuring that no mother feels alone or unprepared when welcoming her child. Through compassion, community, and care, we deliver baby kits filled with love, because every baby deserves a gentle start and every mom deserves to feel supported.

What's in the baby kit?

We offer full baby kits for new and expectant moms who are experiencing financial hardship. Each kit includes:

  • 4-6 Onesies

  • 3-5 mix and match outfits

  • 3 One piece pajamas

  • 3-5 pairs of socks

  • 2-3 Hats

  • 2-3 Receiving blankets

  • 3-4 wash cloths

  • 2-4 Towels

  • 4-6 Bibs

  • 4-6 Burb cloths

  • 2 4oz bottles

  • Hygiene Items

  • 1 Diaper bag

  • Diapers & wipes​​

​These items are carefully selected to give moms a strong foundation as they welcome their baby. We do not offer individual items  each kit is complete and ready to support a new beginning.
